The slight cokebottle shape when viewed from above (which isn't hard considering it's height), the somewhat Italian exotic looking front end, headlights, etc combined with the Japanese super car look defies age. I still get smiles, thumbs up, etc. I don't expect this to change. However, that isn't why I own it. Most important of all it still makes ME smile when I look at it!! I like the new 350Z, but to me, it looks like an Audi TT put through a 3D copy machine in Japan. I like the Audi TT, but I think the 350Z is a better platform to start with. Will it be as timeless as the Z32 design? Probably not. Does it look good now? Definitely. Is it as far ahead of it's time styling-wise (keep in mine the Z32 was penned in the late 80's)? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great car& I wouldn't mind owning one. But I'm not going to give up the TTz to get one. That's just my opinion, from someone who still loves the lines of vintage Ferraris (250 Testa Rossa, GTO's, etc), 427 S/C Cobras, Lamborgini Miuras, Jaguar D-Types, and the great FORD GT-40 FE powered cars.
